ADC Alimosho Chairman Urges Renewed Grassroots Mobilisation, Prioritises PVC Drive Ahead of 2026–2027 Elections.
Alimosho, Lagos State — The Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Alimosho Local Government Area, Hon. Dr. Wesley Odeyemi, has called on party stakeholders and executives across the LGA to intensify grassroots mobilisation and political outreach as the party prepares for the 2026 and 2027 electoral cycles.
In a season’s greeting message issued from his office, Dr. Odeyemi expressed gratitude to God for the gift of life and good health, noting that the period offers an opportunity for reflection and renewed commitment to party growth.
He acknowledged the prevailing economic and social challenges facing the country but encouraged party members to remain steadfast, expressing confidence that resilience, faith, and collective effort would see ADC members prevail over tough times.
The ADC Alimosho chairman urged all Local Government stakeholders and executives to remain active in their respective wards, stressing the importance of tailoring grassroots engagement to the unique terrain and peculiarities of each ward.
According to him, sustained expansion of the party’s network and political coverage is critical to positioning the ADC for victory, starting from ward-level organisation through the 2026 contests and into the 2027 general elections.
Dr. Odeyemi also emphasized that the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) and Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) campaign must be treated as a top priority, from voter registration to PVC collection, describing it as central to the party’s electoral success.
He further encouraged members to attend ward meetings regularly and make meaningful contributions to discussions on key agendas affecting party structure and mobilisation.
The message concluded with an advance goodwill message for the year 2026 and an appreciation to party members for their unwavering support, prayers, understanding, and cooperation in building the ADC in Alimosho.
“Together, we must keep expanding our reach beyond boundaries to take ADC to power,” he said, while rallying members with the party’s call: “ADC Arise and Shine.”
