ADC Governorship Candidate Najeem Salaam Pledges Inclusive Governance, Warns Against Vote-Buying

Rt. Hon. Najeem Folasayo Salaam, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) governorship aspirant for Osun State in the 2026 general election, has pledged to institute a collective, inclusive, and interactive model of governance if elected, governor of the state.
    Speaking with Ayekooto magazine reporter, the Oluomo of Ejigbo, Osun State, expressed appreciation to ADC members across the state for their confidence in his leadership and for giving him the mandate to fly the party’s flag into the forthcoming polls. 
  The former Speaker of the state assembly apso charged party members to intensify grassroots mobilisation and engagement, stressing that strong presence at the ward and community levels remains key to achieving electoral success.
  He assured the people of Osun State that an ADC-led administration under his leadership would prioritize holistic development, covering critical sectors such as education, agriculture, civil service reform, rural electrification, healthcare delivery, and other areas directly impacting the welfare and productivity of citizens.
   He further thanked citizens of Osun,especially ADC Non-Member supporters who worked tirelessly to ensure his emergence as one of the Osun State governorship Aspirants, promising that their trust would be repaid with people-oriented and inclusive governance that leaves no segment of the state behind.
 The ADC flagbearer also cautioned voters against politicians who deploy money and inducements during campaigns, warning that such short-term gains often translate into long-term poverty, poor governance, and renewed hardship for citizens. According to him, accepting vote-buying only mortgages the future of the state for another four years.
