ADC Alimosho LGA Holds Thanksgiving, Urges Members to Intensify Grassroots Mobilisation
The Alimosho Local Government Area (LGA) chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has held a thanksgiving service to usher members into what it described as a promising year of political activities.
Speaking at the event, the LGA Chairman, Dr. (Pastor) Wesley Odeyemi, appreciated party executives for their commitment and presence, while urging them to do more in the new political year than they did in the previous one.
Dr. Odeyemi encouraged members to remain consistent in grassroots mobilisation and to continue spreading the message of the party across communities in Alimosho, stressing that sustained engagement at the grassroots level remains key to the party’s success.
The thanksgiving service, which took place on Sunday 25th of January, 2026 at No. 3, Ayoka Street, off Ebun Oyedele Street, Captain Area, recorded the presence of acting LGA officers including the Woman Leader, Hon. Yemisi Flourish; the Secretary, Hon. Joyce; the Organising Secretary, Hon. Hamzat; as well as several ward chairmen.
In his sermon, Bishop Odeyemi advised party representatives to remain focused and steadfast in their faith, urging them to trust in God while working diligently for the growth of the party. He related the party’s slogan to a passage from the Holy Bible and assured members that with prayer, determination, and unity of purpose, the ADC would record victory in the forthcoming elections.
