“ADC Strengthened in Alimosho as Rasheed Alao Commends Ọmọlúàbí Movement”
Hon. Rasheed Alao, the Agege Federal Constituency House of Representatives aspirant of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has expressed deep appreciation to members of the Ọmọlúàbí Progressive Movement and ADC supporters in Alimosho for their massive turnout at a recent political gathering.
Speaking at the event organised by the Ọmọlúàbí Progressive Movement, a political group aligned with Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, Hon. Alao commended the warm reception given to the Ọmọlúàbí governorship aspirant at the Eco Hall, Egbeda, in Alimosho Local Government Area on January 31, 2026.
He described the overwhelming attendance as a clear indication that residents of Alimosho are ready for a political shift from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the ADC. According to him, the large crowd demonstrated growing confidence in the ADC’s vision for good governance and people-oriented leadership.
Hon. Alao applauded the unwavering belief of party members and supporters in the ADC, urging them to intensify grassroots mobilisation. He stressed that grassroots citizens are the true beneficiaries of good governance when credible leaders are elected into public office.
The Agege federal aspirant further encouraged Nigerians to disengage from what he described as “bad political parties” and align with credible and reliable platforms. Citing his personal political journey as an example, Alao revealed that he left the APC for the Social Democratic Party (SDP), and later joined the ADC after observing that the policies and direction of his former parties were no longer favourable to the people.
He concluded by reaffirming his commitment to progressive ideals and people-focused governance, while calling on party faithful to remain steadfast in their resolve to effect positive political change.
