Hon. Noheem Abiodun Balogun Urges Lagosians to Register as Voters Ahead of 2027 Elections.
A leading figure of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Lagos State, Hon. Noheem Abiodun Balogun, has called on Lagosians to actively participate in the democratic process by ensuring they register to vote.
Balogun, an indigene of Epe, is widely regarded as a grassroots politician, philanthropist, and community-focused leader, whose interventions have left visible impact across parts of the division. He is particularly noted for powering sections of Epe community with solar energy, a project that has improved livelihoods and demonstrated the practical benefits of people-centred leadership.
Speaking during an engagement with residents, Balogun emphasised that voter registration remains the foundation of effective political change, urging citizens not to surrender their civic power through apathy.
According to him, meaningful governance can only emerge when the people take ownership of the electoral process, beginning with voter registration.
“Your voter’s card is your voice, your power, and your right. Without it, you cannot decide who governs you,” he said.
Balogun stressed that Lagosians, especially youths and first-time voters, must take advantage of ongoing registration exercises to prepare for future elections, noting that political participation goes beyond online debates and complaints.
Political observers describe Balogun’s call as part of a broader ADC mobilisation strategy aimed at strengthening grassroots participation and expanding democratic consciousness across Lagos State.
With his blend of community service, philanthropy, and grassroots engagement, Hon. Abiodun continues to position himself as a strong advocate for inclusive governance and active citizenship.
