Osun ADC Gubernatorial Candidate, Rt. Hon. Dr. Najeem Folasayo Salaam, Speaks on Inclusive Governance After Rave FM Interview
Osun State African Democratic Congress (ADC) governorship candidate for the August 8, 2026 election, Rt. Hon. Dr. Najeem Folasayo Salaam, on Tuesday granted an interview following a successful radio programme at Rave FM, Osogbo.
Speaking after the programme, Dr. Salaam reiterated his commitment to running a government anchored on good governance, transparency, and people-oriented policies if elected.
He stated that his administration would prioritize the welfare of civil servants, including timely payment of salaries, improved working conditions, and capacity development, adding that civil servants would be actively involved in policy formulation and implementation to ensure effective service delivery.
Dr. Salaam also disclosed that his government would focus on improving the state’s Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) through sustainable economic reforms, while placing strong emphasis on agriculture as a major driver of employment and food security across the state.
The ADC candidate further stressed the importance of strengthening security architecture to ensure the safety of lives and property, noting that development can only thrive in a peaceful environment.
He assured that his campaign would remain issue-based, promising to focus strictly on what he intends to offer the people of Osun State rather than attacking or condemning political opponents.
He called on residents of the state, including workers and professionals across all sectors, to support his vision for an inclusive, prosperous, and secure Osun State.
