APC Members Accused of Disrupting ADC Online Registration Process.

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has recently launched its online membership registration process as part of its commitment to transparency, modernization, and grassroots inclusion.

The initiative is designed to simplify participation, encourage youth engagement, and strengthen internal democracy within the party.

However, it is both surprising and disappointing that members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have chosen to interfere in a process that does not concern them. Reports indicate that certain APC members have not only raised allegations of irregularities without substantiated evidence but have also allegedly gone as far as generating membership cards for themselves in a bid to discredit the ADC’s exercise.

Such actions, if true, are reckless and undermine the spirit of democratic competition. Political parties are independent institutions, and every party has the right to organize its internal affairs without external sabotage or unnecessary hostility. If the APC has concerns within its own structure, it should focus on resolving them rather than attempting to distract or destabilize another party’s progress.

Democracy thrives on healthy competition, not intimidation or manufactured controversy. The ADC’s digital registration drive represents growth, innovation, and a forward-thinking approach to political organization in Nigeria. Attempts to ridicule or manipulate the process only expose desperation and a lack of constructive engagement.

Rather than interfering in another party’s internal matters, the APC should channel its energy into strengthening its own systems and addressing the genuine concerns of Nigerians. Political maturity demands responsibility, respect, and focus.

The ADC remains committed to conducting a credible, transparent, and inclusive registration process. No amount of distraction will deter its resolve to build a stronger alternative for the Nigerian people.
